The Week Ends!
It has been a while since I've actually "blogged" about something so it might take a while to get used to again. Anyhow, I am finally coming to the realization that I am going to be done with architecture school in just a few short days. I can slowly begin to normalize my life with schedules and commitments without everything having to revolve around the inconsistencies of architecture studio. The week can finally end for the first time since 2009.
So what are my next steps for the rest of my life? By the grace of God I have been able to find a job before graduating--something nearly unheard of in our profession. This job will keep me in Portland for the time being and I am actually looking forward to it. The pay isn't great especially considering this whole $15/hr minimum wage movement, but at least it's something. I think it'll be good for me though because it gives me motivation to prove myself of being worth much more. Challenge accepted.
Life in Portland will be good. A lot of places to hang out with friends and a lot of places to hang out alone. But first, I must complete this last week of school and make sure everything is turned in and nothing is left out.
