Decade in Review | 2016 of 2019
2016 was probably the year I traveled around the most since I started working. I made a trip up North to Canada, down South to San Diego, and out East to NYC.
January 2016
Multnomah Falls, Oregon classic.
February 2016
I believe this was during a trip down in Newport, OR. The weather was typical foggy Oregon coastal weather.
March 2016
Crane statue in its diva pose.
April 2016
This was the time where we accidentally stumbled upon a nude beach along the Gorge.
May 2016
I entered a photo contest in 2016 where there was live anonymous judging and most of my photos got shortlisted in their categories but ultimately fell short. This one sparked the most conversation.
June 2016
Salk Institue did not disappoint. Architectural bucket list item checked. The seagull wanted to be the center of attention though.
July 2016
Oregon’s lavender fields smell so nice and they look pretty.
August 2016
Group of friends decided to ride their bikes from Seattle to Vancouver, BC. So I agreed to tag along and drive up there to hang out.
September 2016
A group of friends and I just happened to be visiting the WTC memorial on the 15th anniversary of 9/11. They open up the Oculus on the anniversary when weather permits.
September 2016
Walking to work during certain times of the year sometimes greets me with beautiful sunrises.
November 2016
Our first OMSI Gingerbread Competition was a fun experience. It caught the attention of NASA’s Kennedy Center on Twitter and they tweeted about it.
December 2016
Our firm participated in a project to design and build a tiny pod for a women’s shelter as part of a tiny pod village that has now become the Kenton Women’s Village. The dusting of snow was a pleasant surprise when I went to go photograph it.
